  • I believe in the Constitution of the United States.
  • I believe that God should not be removed from the free expression of religion in churches, schools and other public places.
  • I believe that the progressive movement has gradually stripped away many of the principles by which our country was founded.

  • I believe that top down governance by our elected officials has imposed policies that are inconsistent with the Constitution of the United States.
  • I believe that social welfare has created a permanent underclass which is used as justification for redistribution of wealth as a means of centralizing power in our elected officials.
  • I believe that control of our state government, in the hands of one party for decades has been a corrupting influence.
  • I believe that the current leadership in Raleigh believes that they can tax their way to prosperity.
  • I believe in the sanctity of private property ownership and that excessive use of eminent domain is legalized theft.
  • I believe that the future of our state and nation is dependent upon students being better prepared for college and graduate studies. I will oppose all efforts to increase class sizes and to change the curriculum that is taught in our schools.
  • I will oppose OLF in northeastern North Carolina and encourage the Navy to seek alternative training solutions.
  • I believe that individual self-reliance and determination is a key element to the success of all peoples.
  • I believe that government should listen to and heed the interest of the people.
  • I believe in the Rights of the Unborn and oppose ALL abortion legislation.
  • I believe in the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution.
  • I am opposed to all efforts to socialize our country by the present administration.
  • I oppose the forced taking of financial resources by the government to pay for government social programs.
  • I am opposed to the present Health Care legislation.
